hi
long time lurker of all about dogs and desperate to introduce my new(ish) rescue Bridie.. a little lurcher girl to join my other 2 lurchers
in april I lost my last weimeraner and was well and truly heartbroken, when a week later this little poppet "popped" out infront of me on FB.. 22 months old and in a bit of a sad state.
she was abandoned by her previous home ( they moved away and left her in house.... having rehomed their other dog) fortunately the neighbour realised and got her to place of safety and her old owners to gift her them, in the next 3 weeks I understand she had 3 homes - the latter being her foster home.
she has now been here 2 and half months and is settling in nicely, no longer a snappy crocodile with my other dogs and starting to look for human affection (both myself and her foster home feel there is a good chance she has been slapped around a bit in the past), she has put on weight and is starting to muscle up.
anyhow hoping these pics work
first day - I think trying to hide from the world
a couple of hours later
how she was - very timid
how she is now
resting after a good run round with my big lad
her 1st run in barn - 30 seconds of madness then I thought she was going to collapse

sorry for the photo overload -
