I agree that it does make you appreciate how much people on here love their horses, no matter how mad it may seem to be trudging across a slippery filed in the dark&rain&cold trying to catch a pony who does not want to come in!
But (and don't shoot me down, this is my opinion) I would say that it's the little things, like worrying about what's safe to leave in our beloved's stable, which rug to put on, what noseband is best, as well as the bigger things, such as how to school correctly, that show how much we care. The fact that people come on here and discuss/advise/bicker about the details for hours on end show that they truly love their animals and want the best for them, something scum like the p***k that did this wouldn't understand or care about.
I was going to post exactly the same thing today, all of us on here love our horses and ponys to bit and it does really put all are silly little bikkerings into perspective, lets just hope the ones that are left will survive and live happy healthy lives!
I completely agree, I've been worrying over silly things like my riding and why my Share Mare plants her feet and tries it on with me....but actually she's the most loved and spoiled mare in the world, and has numerous people who care about her, unlike these poor animals.
I think you have spoken for every single person on here Arwen! I don't actually own a horse yet, but when the weather is bad I do worry, I worry about all animals when the weather is bad! Softie!
