Thank you to everyone on this post board, the last few months have been really trying with my new horse.and after reading someones post on here today (i can't remember whose it was, sorry) i have finally cracked it.
My mare likes to nap and then rear if pushed, but today i sat there when she stopped and waited for her for about a minute. (normally i push and squeeze and sometimes use a whip)
I then said walk on using my seat, without a slight kick and she walked hallelujah!!!
This forum is great it has been such a help, and everybody that i have spoken to has been so lovely. I only wish i had discovered it sooner..
