Hello everyone :)

Title says it all really. I got a beautiful bridle for Xmas last year, just a regular snaffle one. It was quite expensive and I'm very fond of it. Can I buy extra pieces and turn it into a double bridle...?

Thanks!!

I was wondering why I couldn't find anything under "headslip"! Haha thanks everyone, this helped a lot!!

One more question -- The noseband on the bridle is beautiful, thick and padded with a white lining, and I wouldn't want to change it. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whatever your p.o.v.) it has a flash attachment.

Can anyone recommend a nice noseband with no flash attachment?? Or is it at all acceptable to ride in a double bridle with a noseband that has a little flash attachment hanging off the end of it...?

As swirleymurphy has said, it takes 3 mins to remove a flash loop and restitch round to make good!
£2.75 and a cup of tea and job done!
Oz :)

Sorry just re read your post, that'll teach me for jumping the gun!
It doesn't look right (in my professional opinion) if you have a redundant flash loop on the noseband in a double (I'm very traditionally trained)
You can get a plain nose and have a flash loop attachment to fit onto it when you need the flash strap on it.
