I got my wages today (not tomorrow? ....yeah, don't ask) so I've bought Danny a nice new deep engraved tag and a charm for his collar (£9.15 total) and I bought a good quality fleece from the grwe shop because it was reduced to £9 (don't care about colour, they are all nice).

But I've fallen in love with a one-off, hand made martingale collar which is really hard wearing(shot with taffeta) and washable. Only, it's kinda...sorta....£18. It'll be his last collar for a while as that means he will have one to wear and one spare instead of just having one collar for constant (I like having spares as my terriers have always destroyed their collars). Is 18 too much? Is it about right for a well-made one-off? The washable factor is very attractive because Danny loves fox poop. Are there any cheaper alternatives (not leather) that are of the same quality and attractivness?

Argh. So confusing :S

Edit: Or I could go with a nice tweed one for £19...

I pesonally don't think tht is very expensive for a collar! Especially if you like it :D

I got my girl a leather collar and lead made to measure hand stitched, which 6 years ago cost £55 :D
