Can I see some pics of jumping at 2'3" - 2'6"

Odd request I know, but I just want to see what a jump or course of that size of jumps would look like.

The tyres are about 2'3, the log pile is a bit bigger.

Logs, houses, tyres, barrels, more loggs more tyres!!
SJ its not too complex - most fillers are 2'3" without a pole on top, and i wouldnt think they would put in a water tray - they are a bit much for that height.

Are you jumping 2ft 3/6 at home?? Do walk the course before you ride around it!
Maybe the place its at has some photos of old events?? Try their website - or google old events to try find piccis of it - or mention it on here and maybe someone has some!

Its through the uni club, they're doing a competition for people who do lessons with them. You have to do a dressage test and jump a course. I thought about giving it a go but I haven't done very much jumping. Maybe I'll wait until I've had some more jump lessons and have a go another time.

My confidence relies massively on which horse I'm riding so hopefully I can find one at the riding school I can click with. I'll pop up some pics of the highest thing I can jump within my comfort zone.

Ok, so this is me jumping at the riding school I went to before I came to uni.

This one is most recent, I know its silly because he is much bigger, but I'm not so confident on him. This jump was a big challenge for me. The biggest I've jumped with him and I fell off attempting it when it was slightly higher just before I did this. Hence, the look of relief on my face!

i would give it a go i used to arrange comps and stuff for the uni riding club when i was at uni and if anything we definitely went for smaller rather than bigger- i suspect it will be little X poles and uprights and not much in the way of fillers and oxers.... i know it can be hard when you don't have loads of confidence- definitely not helped if you don't get to jump a lot- but you can trot to 2ft3/2ft6 and pop over quietly

I don't think they're quite as high.

I think you look like you'd be fine jumping that height for a little competition, on a riding school horse that you felt safe with.

For what it's worth, I'm usually pretty brave but am really just learning to jump on my unpredictable horse and I have probably only jumped her to 2'6".

They're a bit unorganised so I've only been able to get in one lesson since uni so I don't know any of the horses. I think I'll give it a miss this time, and give it a go when I've found a horse I'm confident on. Don't want to make myself even more scaredy!

You'll be fine its worth a shot Remember at those heights aswell there are practically no spreads on the fenced either and there are not many fillers
