Can I see your pictures of 75cm / 2ft6 XC and SJ please!

There is a ODE coming up that I am trying to summon the courage to enter....however it is a bit bigger than I was intending to enter for, and because I've not done anything for so long my perception of heights and sizes has gone out of the window! There is a 2'6 course at my yard but some of them are way under height whilst others are (IMO!) pushing 3ft, so it'd be really helpful if I could see some examples of other 2'6 courses, both cross country and show jumping.

I can give you the link to the BDRC photos which were at the same place, only problem is the classes were 2'3 and 2'9, so have a guess in the middle

I did 2'6" at a local PC event and was suprised how tiddly it was (good for us though )

I think most venues vary on whether they have upto height classes or not. Is the 2ft6 the smallest class? If so you may find it will be on the smaller side especially if they have a 2ft9 class etc not sure if that makes sense

Generally at a unaff PC ODE's in this area the SJ is normally a bit under height, does that help?

This jump is 2'6'' but it was our first ever hunter trials 3 years ago so we were both very messy, lol!

2'6 is a bit of funny height -- this is the SJ I did.
Both these jumps were meant to be 2'6

they are all meant to be the same size :S i think the middle one looks bigger than 2'6 and the other two smaller ??

251libby - I'd say the first was 2'3, the second more like 2'9, and the last one is about 2'6. It does beg the question - how big is a 2'6 course?
