Bit sad, going into hospital on 17th for a cardiac ablation, the 18th is my birthday (nice) so no alcohol. I wondered if I demanded my patient rights, I could take my horse with me, the hospital has some nice closed courtyard areas with grass!! What do you think peeps?

Don't tell them, they're always busy so they probably won't notice;) I'll have a glass of wine on your behalf on the 18th:D Good luck and I hope you'll be home for Xmas.

they have the ponies go in sometimes to cheer up patiens so tell them that is what she/he is there for :D just make sure they only see her/him from a distance then they cant tell its a horse not a pony :D :D :D good luck with the op though

Firstly fingers crossed for you etc xx Secondly i wouldn't want to subject your poor horse to NHS food ;)
Q

LoL:D

Blimey, poor you - honestly? 17th December AND over your 18th? Have you been a really bad person or something recently?

Seriously though, I have no idea what a cardiac ablo-whotsit is, so wish you the very best of luck for a speedy recovery. Oh and just send your Harvey to me please, he's gorgeous - I'll look after him!

Cardiac ablation should be an in and then home job - you'll be able to gie your neddy his good night carrot and hug :)

Happy 18th :D:D

Guys, I don't think it's her 18th birthday, but that her birthday is on the 18th :P

I say give it a go :) they can only say no & it'll probably cheer up some of the other patients too!

Hospitals collect bugs, so im sure they wont mind a horse! lol

Your be fine, and good luck with the opp, your horsey will be fine and your see him pretty soon afterwards. :)

Many years ago when I was a nursing sister, the snow was so bad that there was no way in which we could get up the hill to the hospital (Odstock)

A farming friend had a small field with a shelter next to the Hospital so I rode my pony (A New Forest Gelding) up and turned him out. This went on for about a week. It was great fun and at least I got to work.
