Can I use a breast plate in dressage?

It is unaff dressage but I think it is run under BD rules (or I will assume it is!)

Why not just use a neckstrap since a breastplate is an extra security measure or to aid an ill-fitting saddle. I suppose if you already have one but to me it just means more tack to clean

You can use a breast plate but NOT a neck strap except in Prelim.. You may use a neck strap in 4yo or Young Horse classes where they are ridden in a group.

Neck straps may also be used at any level when working in.
