Can I wear a coloured stock for British dressage

Hi there,

I have beautiful patent oxblood/burgundy boots that I wear for BD.

My old stock has broken and I have seen a stock in a burgundy colour with small white spots on it. I thought it would look lovely to match with my boots.

I have looked at the equipment guides in the BD handbook and I can’t see anything about the permitted colour of stocks. Does it have to be light or if permitted for darker can it have a spotty pattern?

Just wanted to check before I buy

Absolutely, I used to wear a Viyella stock and caramel breeches with tweed for BD.
