Now maddison hasn't had a very good past and has never been a nice horse, so to speak.
She'll make faces at you getting her in from the field but you learn to dodge the teeth

Anyway, recently she's gotten a lot worse and has now turned on the other horses, which she has never done before. She's kicking out at them for no reason, even Connie who is her best friend

She just doesn't seem happy at all and she is becoming dangerous for the horses. With us, she's not even resisiting a headcollar anymore and just doesn't seem to care. She used to like being made a fuss of for 5 minutes after her breakfast but now she hates it.
She has a lot of leg trouble, arthritus and stiffness and it could be that this has just gotten worse and she is in a lot of pain.
Other possibility is a brain tumour, seeing as her behavious is so erratic

Anyway, the vet is coming out tomorrow and a decision will be made whether to put her to sleep or not based on what he finds.
Please can you give her some good luck vibes, she's a good horse really

This must be so worrying for you. Have you had a blood profile done and has the vet tested for hormonal imbalance? Sending Maddie lots of vibes for tomorrow. Hx
