Basically we are having a debate over double bridles, as to which reins go where. She has plaited reins and plain reins. See if that was me I would have the plaited reins on the snaffle and the plain on the curb, but everyone else seem to think it is the other way around.
What do you guys think?

See I knew I was right but you know what some people are like. I have always shown my horse with them that way aswell. What made it worse the yard owner agreed about plaited on bottom and said her daughter has her reins like that I have just checked a pic from a show and she has it on the top lol.

My god, I am not a busy body who thinks they know it all but I knew I was right, I have shown like that for a number of years now. Why do people never listen.

Well thank you everyone for confirming this anyway

Dont mean to be rude but all the people that think its the other way round cant really know how the correct way to ride in a double bridle. Because if you know how to use one it should be obvious the plaited rein goes on the bradoon.

I can honestly say I actually agree 100 per cent about that comment.
I couldnt see how it would be possible to use them correctly or hold the correct with them the other way around.
I was made to look a fool but I knew I was right. Does worry me sometimes the imbeciles we have on our yard.
I even said it wouldnt be used correctly you can see that, and it doesnt even look right either but none were having any of it.

I hope you are going to show your friends/acquaintances this thread. I am with every one else here, and you are correct
