Sorry folks but I am getting sick and tired of people coming on this forum for the simple reason that they have nothing better to do than have a go at others.

Its as though the antis are taking on the mantle of the football holligans that we used to have.

Pft. Its boring dull and rather crass. Its always the same old same old "all hunters are blood thirsty child abusers and psychotic mass murderers..."

BORING! BUGGAR OFF AND GET A LIFE!

I have been thinking about this quite recently...

How are antis dealt with when encountered in the field?

Do we:

• - say ah grand lads sure you are just misunderstood, - fancy a swig from my hip flask?
  
• -say Lets all sit down and talk about this - I'm sure we can come to some type of agrement...
  
• -I capitulate! I am wrong! I must make amends!
  
• - Jump of your horse and take up hand to hand combat
  
• - Ignore them and attempt to get on with hunting as best we can

If the answer is anywhere towards the latter then why do we put up with the repeated attempts of online Antis aka "Trolls" to question and be abusive to those who wish to discuss a legitimate activity?

However it has become clear that whilst we can use the term "Anti" in the field there would appear to be massive reluctance to identify such individuals as such online and anyone who does is jumped upon from a height

Even when there has been very obvious anti/troll activity many posters have been rounded upon to dare that such activity has actually taken place!

Happily for the forum there have a number of Anti/Trolls who have clearly outed themselves

Those with non anti/troll briefs are in my experience generally interested in the opinions of members of the hunting forum and are not abusive

What is the problem with being able to highlight obvious Anti/Troll activity on this forum? Is it a case of PC or are simply encouraging such individuals / organistations to keep coming?

Thats the problem Fiagai - I don't think there is an answer as you can never dictate how others should live their lives/ think etc.

I just want to winge because I actually really look forward to hearing folks reports and bits and pieces, keeps my toe in when I can't get out myself and its being bladdy ruined by a bunch of nincompoops. I hardly ever log on these days as its always the same old same old.

Its driving me INSANE! Every time there is a PaulT or a Timmywhatsit going on about how terrible and awful we all must be and getting abusive etc. AND you can tell it going to happen because they are so darned antagonistic in their posting - its like playground taunting... Do these people stand outside McDonnalds singing "your fat your fat" at anyone who dares to enter?

Its just so tiresome and dull. Gah.

Paddy I also agree sick of these w@(£&kers that come on here to abuse people with a genuine interest in the forum. We need to stand together and tell these individuals to politely pi&s off. Yes?!

Also I'm astonished that no Trolls jumped on me becasue I did the unthinkable and mentioned that we may have harmed a few hairs on the head of a real fox Or maybe I'm too far away to bother with....

If that is the case it would suggest that they, sorry, the Anti's are more about runing someone elses fun than really protecting, however misguidedly, foxes.
