I know all about the standards BUT. I am sure there was talk of some of the 'bodies' not bringing in the ru,e until 2017, did this happen or are the likes of BD sticking to 2016 ?
can someone remind me of who/what re new hat rule

One or more of the show societies are not going to introduce the rule until 2017. I don't show (or at least not at that level!) so I can't immediately recall which it was. Someone on here will know. So far as I know the rule applies for competitions post 1 Jan 16 for everyone else. Obviously old style hats don't just vanish on new years day though. Just check the rules for your next competition.
