I went out to curry my mare as she is now starting to shed out for spring and was a furry monster. I have not been handling her a lot recently as we are still covered in snow and ice here and my horses have most of the winter off lounging out 24/7.
Anyhow... Today I feel to check on her melnoma on her throat and it is about half the size it has been for the last couple years. It also feels much softer? My vet told me it would keep growing slowly and the way it is behaving right now seems against everything I knew about melanomas.
Has anyone with a grey had a melanoma do this or go away completely on its own?
