Lunchtime today I take my beloved Molly to the vets for splint bone fracture surgery tomorrow. Getting very anxious about the whole thing now, stuck at work for another hour and fighting the urge to be sick :o

She is not the best loader in the world - and after 10 days box rest I am dreading it, chifney and lunge lines at the ready!! Really don't want her having her usual rear, spin and disappear up the drive at the gallop (and repeat) episodes today :(

Dreading the loading, dreading leaving her and even more so dreading waiting for the call tomorrow to say she is ok (surgery some time tomorrow, in today to be "starved" in prep)

Good vibes needed please!!

I know it is fairly straightforward as far as these things go - but she is my world :(

You poor thing, often the waiting is the worst thing, once your doing something it is so much better. I hope you have got someone to help you with the loading, even if it is just someone you can talk to to make you feel calmer.

I really hope it all goes well tomorrow, but it will be tough waiting for the phone call. Sending lots of {{vibes}}

Well as predicted loading wasn't great - she got away from me as soon as saw the lorry and managed to gallop (and I mean gallop) down the drive towards her field. Took a while to get her back :( not sure that will have helped leg!!!! Once re-caught she went straight on at least.

Left her sweating buckets at the vets, she looked terrified in the empty box and wouldn't come near me :( I sobbed all the way home. She is in for min of 5 days after op, I miss her already. We're DIY and I hardly ever go away, so thought of not seeing her twice a day is just hideous.

Op is 10am-ish tomorrow, don't expect to hear from them until 2pm-ish when she is back on her feet.
