Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent, not too expensive torch with a long range beam?

I'm looking after two ponies who live out and night checks are a pita right now as half the time I can't find them!
(Both small dark Welshies)

Field is roughly 3ac so something with a long beam is a must. Don't want to spend a fortune but not too fussed about size because it will live in the car.

Thank you!

Do you want an ordinary hand-held torch? Or are you after a head-torch??

I've got the latter, it is a re-chargeable one, and a total godsend all through the year let alone now in the darker months. Got off Amazon, sorry no idea what brand it is, nothing on it to say! But invaluable. Particularly helpful when in a dark corner of the stable and trying to see to pick out hooves in the dark!

A hand torch. I already have a head lamo that's fantastic.

I basically want something powerful with a long beam that I can use to find the blighters! 😂

Thanks!

After years of buying cheap torches which didn’t last I invested in some professional rechargeable torches which were expensive initially but are the only torches we have bought in the last 10 years so have actually been a bargain. Lightweight and powerful.
We got great advice from torch direct.
Who knew there was such a thing as a professional torch!!

Convoy C8 is an outstanding hand torch, it's what I have used for 2/3 years as my spot light. It does require an 18650 battery, you may find some bundled that include the torch, battery and a charger. Well worth it though.

Feel free to PM if you want clarity.
