Livery at yard - Has had horse which was lamed last summer -I think due to excessive work (jumping 1m20+) on rock hard ground having always been worked on soft surface in run up to this. So horse has the wimter off, it has splints, and the vets are not sure what else accounts for this lameness of foreleg. Brought back into work, (too quickly in my opinion - jumping for hr long lessons after approx 6 weeks or less back in work). Now lame again. Then yesterday I see her riding it, she says Oh it is sound again. I saw some of the work. It looked very free and regular to begin with. Next thing I see her 15 mins later cantering 10 mtr circles. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing given that it was lame 2 days ago.
Surprise surprise she returns to the yard saying horse is lame again. I say the tiny circles prob didn't help! She says she thought they would help take pressure off front legs and move horses' weight onto hind legs. I understand the theory but given the scenario - don't you think that is crazy? Basic problem is a lack of knolwedge and a lack of thought and a lack of patience. What d'you think? I despair!

Some people are so ignorant it really annoys me, and when you try to suggest things to them they just get angry or dismiss you like you're talking rubbish. People think they know everything when actually knowing very little at all. I feel sorry for the poor horses!
