When I was at the vets we were called to a pony that had been shot in the head with a rifle (the sort that has hundreds of lead ball?)

It was dead when the vet got there and when we xrayed the head it was full of pellets - the stable was covered in blood from where it had been throwing itself around the stable.

The reason...a disagreement over a gambling debt. People can be so sick.

What a dreadfuol article, these people should be shot in the eye at point blank themselves and see how they bloody well like it.

I hope the horses are ok and the TB can survive with one eye, I know they can adjust to it quite well. But I am a great believer of what goes around comes around, hopefully! These people deserve to be shot!

at the riding for the disabled stables where i used to work one of the mares was slashed i dont know how they managed it because this mare was an extremly nasty thoroghbred(sp) but they had managed to lift up her tail and slash her! another was shot in the head with a pellet gun the vet said if it had been any higher it would have gone into her brain and killed her what is the world coming to and this was at a charity run organisation!
