I've been thinking about the big fella all last night (yes I'm back on nights again). A year ago this morning at 8.20, Topper was put out of his misery.

I was thinking of you and Topper just recently when I realised that it had been a year since Ali went as well. Our lives have changed a lot in just a year haven't they?

The spirit and memories live on. Hugs.
 
Thank you guys. THough TBH I remember him fondly and all the fun we had - I didn't let him become a cripple, which he certainly would have been by Christmas. I just want to celebrate him for the wonderful, wonderful gentleman he was.

I'm quite new and don't post very often but..............first of all I am so sorry for your loss last year, he was a beautiful horse! but I am really writing to say he is the spitting image of my horse that was PTS last year too, truly they are 2 peas in a pod! I wached the video and it brought tears to my eyes because the similarity is amazing, the same amazing eyes and big blaze.

Anyway, it's so tough saying goodbye to our partners and I just wanted to say that he was beautiful and reminded me of my lovely big boy

wow beautiful horse, sorry for your loss. may i ask what happen but if ya dont want me to know then thats fine, i know how do ya feel due to that i lost my very best friend (horse) not a long ago and miss her so terrble!
 
Topper was a horse in a million SN & he had the best of homes & times with you.
I know it was for nowhere near as long as it should have been but I also know that, despite the heartbreak at losing him, you couldn't imagine not having had him & denying him that time, could you?

QR - I can't believe its been a year, He was such a cracking horse. I love the tribute to him, esp the pic of Topper staring down at little Tuppence in the grass! ((((((Hugs))))))
