Can you actually buy a horse from a dealer on your credit card?

Would it be a really irresponsible thing to do? Especially if it was 2k out of your price range? lol :D:D:D

Can't see why not. You can get cash advances from credit cards at a cost. get yourself a decent 0% interest credit card :-) Iv got a nationwide one that's 0% for 18 months!

I did!
I was awaiting the insurance from the loss of my previous horse so I knew I'd be able to pay off the credit card before there was any interest. I used a credit card cheque.

After some disasterous advice from a financial advisor I paid for a house on credit cards a few years back. I had committed to buy at auction believing that we had a mortgage but we didnt and we had 28 days to pay the rest!!
so yes I probably would buy a horse on a card and sort it out afterwards. I guess I tend to live for today hmmmm

0% interest credit cards charge you to transfer balances so aren't really 0%. You'd be better off with a bank loan if this is what you want - but if you can't get a bank loan then absolutely not. What would you do if a big, uncovered vets or other bill came in?

I like the idea of 'living for today' as maree t said, but agree that it is probably a very silly thing to do!

Best carry on saving then...!
