Can you compete with mild conjunctivitis?

Referring to the horse rather than me!

3 out of 4 horses suddenly have really gunky eyes and I am treating with salt water and chloromycetin

However were scheduled to compete this weekend - but not sure whether this is considered an unsoundness?

My girl has very gunky eyes at the moment, I thought it was the flys

This is thick yellow pussy type stuff - not normal brown horse eye gunk.

Caused by bacteria on flies - I should have kept the bonnets on when it got muddy. Instead I took them off so they could see out!
