Sounds like somebody has been well and truely messed around selling horses! Number of times when I have been selling that I've had people ask for a 3 month loan period - strangely this normally happens at the start of the school cummer holidays - hmmmmmmm! Only time I let someone have one of mine on trial we ended up snatching it back as they wouldn't hand over the cash or the pony after the 2 week trial was up - turned out they had a pony club team event the following saturday which they wanted to use my mare for before returning her - how rude?!
