Can you do Dressage in a Baucher?

As it says really. Can you do dressage in a Baucher bit? Otherwise my neddie is currently in a Waterford full cheek, so if anyone knows something more suitable then I'd be pleased of suggestions

I knew I couldn't use the Waterford

(best thing I ever bought) but wasn't sure about the Baucher - used to ride my welshie in one and wanted something fairly mild but that would still let me have control

The British Dressage rules on bits drive me mad - they're stuck in the Victorian era.

Have you tried your horse in a Myler comfort snaffle? They're dressage legal and I've found very good with horses that can be a little heavy on the hand.
