I would like brown tack and my saddle is brown!!
My saddle is a really good fit for me and my horse:)- I dont want too buy a new one. :p
Can you dye a black saddle brown?
How much will it cost?
where could I get it done?

Thanks for reading!;)

Nope, dye would run every time used. To use a dye which would not run you would seriously compromise the quality of the leather. Black saddles are the most difficult to fix the dye colour of the leather

I've done my WoW! It's black (now) but went almost green, I used shoe dye and gave it a day to really dry and then cleaned it lightly, didn't run even when it got wet!

I wouldn't recommend trying, most dyes are aniline and are carcinogenic, getting the stuff on your skin even when it is dry is dangerous, it leaches through the skin into your system. The dye is fixed into the leather at the time of tanning it and fixers are used to stabilise it, far safer than trying to dye your own.
