Can you feed Top spec etc on their own?

Nope, you can feed just the pellets alone - unless its the powder version.

I mix mine with a little Alfa A to get joint supp in.
 
If it's the balancer(in sacks) it can be fed on its own. It looks like mini pony nuts. If its the powder supplement (in the small plastic buckets) it is powder and needs a handful of something at least to mix with it.

Am feeding my one just that on its own as doesn't need anything else imo (real good doer but want her to get vits) then someone said you had to feed along side another feed type otherwise doesn't work.I thought it would give her vits etc she needs and help her utilise what grass she is getting.????
 
no its fine to be fed alone, combining it with another feed doesnt make any difference to the top spec itself!
