Can you get Automatic Horse Lorries?

This may sound like a silly question but can you buy small horse lorries that are automatic transmission?

No idea, but not sure I'd want one as it would be quite scary going up and down hills if the transmission wasn't quick.

You can certainly get automatic transmission horse boxes - we've had two - a large Renault Dodge and a smaller 3.5 tonner. Both were excellent to drive both up hill and down dales. No problem whatsoever with either of them. Would suggest that if you're looking for a little one, see about buying a cab/chassis and get a body put onto it. In all the years of having automatic lorries, we never spent a penny on mechanics of them.

Yeah ,, You Can Do But They Are Quiet Rare To Get , . unless you go for the £200.000 big scania's..! My Friend has got a little automatic lorry for sale..! x

Our 7.5 ton horse lorry that we are launching at Burghley will have an automatic gearbox.

I am desperately searching for a 3.5tonne small box, 2nd hand to save some pennies, and I cannot find one anywhere that isn't near enough full price.
