Can you jump in Jeffries skeleton knee boots?

As title says really. Seen posts on here saying that the Free Knee ones flip up so don't want them. Jumping in them would be very occasional but I would need to be able to canter in them. Thanks.

Be very careful with knee boots at first to check your horse is ok with them on. I had some skeleton knee boots on my horse and the 3 times he wore them he fell down on his knees every time. They were the correct size, fitted perfectly and didn't slip into the wrong place when he fell. All I can put it down to is he is quite close in front and he literally tripped himself up. I have owned him for twenty years and these are the only times in his whole life that he has fallen over.
