Can You Make Your Own Stocks?

As title really!! I know Ill get bored in the middle of the summer when the ground is too hard and will possibly plait up and go showing lol..but would like a pretty stock, how hard can it be?

The answer is yes you can- someone off another forum I go on made me a silk stock a few months back and it's lovely!!
