Both taken when were fully fit and full work. Conformation plays a part in how they look overall too. Shorter coupled cobs like the stallion, he was always easier to look in proportion [minus neck] and was very obvious in his shape and had less places to fill. The gelding is much larger framed to fill, however both his back end and front end match naturally, so it's just a case of keeping him working correctly. He has a natural neck arc, which only ever increases more with work and feed. :)
