Can you ride in Le Chameau Jameson boots?

My OH has a pair. I don't like the ankle as they don't give much support for riding in but I think he has worn them at least once to ride in., and never complained. They are expensive country boots so if you're not sure I'd try and get them swapped for Ariats or similar.

I wouldn't have thought they were designed for riding, they are pretty expensive so I would see if you could exchange them for riding boots or sell them on :)

I have some which I hack in. Wouldn't use them for schooling or anything requiring refinement though. I have long legs and with a GP saddle, I need to wear the fleece liners with the turn ups so as not to catch the saddle flaps.
Otherwise, they are fantastic, comfortable and hard wearing but not primarily a riding boot.
