Looking loads better, am struggling to keep the weight on my 4yr TB, just had her teeth done on friday - she had 2 wolf teeth out and even though its been a few days i can see an improvement in her already

What did you feed her/him?

She was very fussy when she came and wouldnt eat anything (and I really mean anything!!) She also had terrible teeth which got sorted, the eating improved but she would ONLY eat Build up mix and soaked oats and outshine.

When she got herself sorted and got into the idea of eating I managed to get her to eat, alpha a, sugar beet, some oil and even now trying some build up nuts (she wouldnt even considor trying nuts)

She was on 5 or sometimes 6 feeds a day hence it cost alot to get her like this but I only got her in November so I think shes doing ok.

You wouldnt believe she is the same horse in the flesh!!!!

Dont laugh at my clip, she was far to skinny to clip most of her coat off and about a month ago she decided it was summer so she would start growing her nice coat through so couldnt clip the rest off!!!

Lovely. She looks like a REAL horse now. I have a huge bugbear about people who say/think TB's are naturally thin. They are not.
They are lean if they are racehorses, like human athletes. But a Tb's natural state is not thin or " a bit light, as it's a Tb".
Phew, feel better now.

I think she looks fantastic and as others have said like a proper horse now and not a skinny tb.
Well done for all your hard work and all that money it's definately worth it. I bet she's much happier too.

Gosh, if it wasn't for the white sock I'd be accusing you of substitution! She looks like a lovely girl, what are your plans for her?

Im not really sure whats going to happen to her. She can REALLY jump so want to event her, or maybe have to sell her

as I may be getting the ride on a dimaggio 5 year old and so I may not have time for skinny Lill (well not anymore, but a name sticks I suppose)

We shall see, I like her loads though, shes a good egg!! Maybe I should let her meet Derek this summer LOL
