it will be bald where the freezemark is so yes. the hold it on for longer to kill the har folicles instead og colouring them white for other coloyurs. will only be done on shoulder though

xx

depends how grey

you can just see both of mine in this picture - shes got a normal freezemark then a LOU one

ets:you may need to click on the picture to see it more clearly

my mare was dappled when i bought her and first had her freeze mark done which was done on her shoulder they did it first as a white one as she was so dark but as she got lighter it started to disappear so they came back and redid her free as a raised one. It is a bit patchy to be honest but you can see it an determine the mark. It is best to keep it clipped though. I used farmkey was very impressed

F_M_N i would love to see a picci of a grey with one as i dont reallly want to waste any more of my parents money

hes very grey tbh

both my greys have freezemarks, one on shoulder other on hind quarters, both show up well especially after clipping.

my old boy was grey and he was freezemarked on his shoulder and it showed up fine. Was a bit fuzzier in the winter when he was fluffy but was perfectly clear when clipped or during the summer.

Nope not on my grey you can't. When it was first done she was very dark dappled grey and you could see it, but now she is almost white you cannot see it at all. You can sort of feel it under the skin but there is barely a raised area and it was a complete waste of money if you ask me, LOL!! Heyho though.
