We were discussing the horses and the imminent trip up to Yorks, when referring to my pride and joy, my special man, my little poppet, the treasure of my heart and super extra special boy, OH said "him, what's his face?" :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

(OH has been with me for 9 years and pride and joy for 7 so forgetfulness is not an excuse!).
 
I am planning a special celebration for our Ruby Wedding anniversary - a murder/mystery weekend - complete with real body. Whose coming?
 
My OH is well past his sell by date he consistently and continually with blatant direpect referred to my Horse by telling callers 'She's down with her Donkey!'.

Unfortunately I cannot spend the £1000 on him as when I was down in the pit of despair he is the man who threw a rope down to me and pulled me out!!

Can I join in and hire the mob please?

i parted company with the boy the other day (just say he misinterpreted my aid for canter as a shoot sideways and i went out the side door)

when my OH found me in agony he says 'at least you have enough padding to land on'

he thinks it's funny

Ooh I get comments like that too and he has always said he is in third place in our household. Horses, dog then him. He has recently risen to 2nd but only because we lost our dog after 13 years. Still in a few weeks when we get our pup I am sure he will be back to 3rd again bless him!!:D
 
Can I pls add mine onto the 'to do' list? He has promised me 4 w'ends in a row that he will do some fencing, & for the 4th w'end in a row, he's asleep on the sofa...

Oh, best not let my OH read this one, he thinks, and will tell anyone who'll listen, that my favouritism comes in the following order:

  1. The horse
  2. The cat
  3. The shower curtain
  4. OH

Yes, folks he thinks I prefer the shower curtain above him because once, many many years ago (even before I had the horse) having spent ages redecorating the bathroom I hung a nice new shower curtain and kept going back in to the admire my handywork at the overall room. Actually when I think it about it, this was the bathroom in our last house and we've been in this one 12 years so not only does the shower curtain no longer exist, the bathroom isn't ours anymore!!
