Can you tape from the red button ?

No - not from the red button but there is program on BBC? on Sunday (check H&H website) with highlights

I've done it from the red button on Sky, but it had to be running at the time, ie there doesn't seem to be a way to pre-set it.

Someone I know tried and failed to do this with Sky+

I think you can record it on a Freeview box. Can't do it on Virgin.

Find out which freeview channel its on and set your machine to record that
