can you think of any exciting new jumpign classes??

as title really!!

just being nosey, and wondering what ideas people have, for show jumping classes that might spice things up a little...

think.. puissance, six bar challenge, , head to heads, derbys (but new ideas...)

Indoor xc, jumping wierd fillers, block elimination (jump gets narrower and narrower)...

Have you tried pairs? Our local show used to run one. 1st rider did first half course then 2nd rider final half. Or accumulator, all fences marked with points the higher the points the harder or bigger the fence. Jump and drive? or as we did once jump and push bike on the same rules!

Get rider and horse to jump first then rider jump on there own

I love the head to head one like they do at Spruce Meadows (and I think one of the big shows here, cant remember which one - maybe Olympia or something?). Also think its nice to do a pairs class, a senior with a junior.

I also think they could have the odd SUPER spooky class, so loads of scary fillers and things!

I wish we had more Dernys round here, smaller ones for ponies!

Pony and pooch classes, have round on pony half round with dog.

Years ago used to jump Power and Speed classes with the Ponies under BSJA rules, not sure if this class is still going, but it was great fun........
