As title really!

Autumn came in from the field the night before last lame behind (not terribly but you could see it!) yesterday she wasnt lame as such but a bit short in her off side hind and today, slightly less so - would say 1/10 lame.

Had a good look and poke around her feet and good going over on her legs and there is absolutely nothing to see or feel so my only explaination so far is that she may have either rolled and struggled to get up or fallen over in the snow and is feeling a bit stiff and sore! (we still have about 4inches in the field) Im continuing to turn her out at the moment as I guess if she is still a bit stiff and sore it will help her to be moving and shes not one for really charging about.

She has had one sachet of bute morning and night but someone also suggested arnica tablets (something ive never used before) so thought I would check it would be ok to feed them with the bute and how many? (shes 16.1hh and approx 600kg at a guess)

Obviously if shes still off it by the end of the week it will be a vet call but as always thought I would give her a few days rest and see how shes goes first...

thanks guys!

Yes it's fine to feed them together, homeopathic remedies don't interfer with traditional medicine. Not sure what amount to give though - although you can't 'overdose' on homeopathy if that helps!

Yes you can, as homeopathic arnica doesn't actually contain any active substance i.e. it doesn't work. The tablets are pure sugar and in all likelihood won't do any harm, but personally I wouldn't waste my money on something which has been scientifically proven to have no efficacy above placebo :)
