Ours can! We left him for ten minutes with brushing & overreach boots on & when we came back he'd taken one of each off without damaging them & dropped them over the stable door & was standing there looking quite pleased with himself. When we went in to him the other front brushing boot was half undone so if we'd have been much longer that would have been over the door too. We reckon he thought if he took them off he wouldn't have to go out in the wind!

Just glad we've never left him in the stable tacked up!:D

Yup! My big girl managed to get the gaiters out of her old macs when she was turned out in them for a few hours to protect a bruised sole. Boots were still on and fastened, gaiters were out and thrown on the grass undamaged! No idea how she did it!

Yup. My knobhead can remove/destroy absolutely anything he decides to. He has taken his rug off several times before now, without breaking any straps mind... he undoes the surcingles first, they're the easy ones

He's had all his brushing/flatwork boots off... he takes them off himself if he thinks I'm taking too long to untack after work  Yesterday I put overreach boots on him in the field for the first time, to attempt to stop his shoe-pulling habit, and am not expecting to find overreach boots still on him today
