Cancelling email notifications?

Hi, not sure where to put this BUT I'm getting email notifications for every thread I post on and it's driving me mad! I have actually specified NO email notifications, and still they're coming! Who can I contact/email to see if they can fix this? Thanks

go into user control panel, "edit options" and change the "default thread subscription" to "do not subscribe.

Yes, that's what I did. And then I double-checked and yet I'm still getting notifications.
