Cancer WWYD

Thanks for asking, quite bizarrely her chest is clear BUT the tumour has invaded her lymph glands so only chance would be a radical surgery including amputating her leg. Vet, Davina Anderson of Anderson Moores in Winchester, really pragmatic about options and explained everyting in close detail. They were amazed that at this stage of her disease she had a clear chest scan.
However our decision not to operate has been made and although sad, I am glad I have all the information on which to base my decision. No one ever said life was going to be easy!!!

So sorry to read this. I'm glad your vet gave you honest advice and explained your options. I totally support your decision not to operate, and sincerely hope you and your girl have a good deal of quality time together.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to read this, I was really hoping you'd have better results. I agree that it must help you to know your vet is being thorough and honest, and between you all, your dog will enjoy a good quality of life for as long as possible. Keep strong...
