Hello,

I am a third year vet student at the Royal Veterinary College in UK. I am doing a study on canine obesity. The link below will take you to the 13 question survey. It's simple and will take less than 10 minutes to complete. You are more than welcome to fill out one survey per dog.

Thanks in advance!!!

Have completed for my 3 dogs. I thought that maybe you could have included some way of describing the exercise the dogs do. My 3 all do flyball and although I answered the hours of exercise as 1 hour per day, there wasn't any way of including training periods. Just my thoughts and good luck. I would be interested in the results.

Done!

Bet there's not many of us that answer I feed my dog scraps/treats all the time and I can easily see/feel my dogs ribs! lol1

Done. The question about bowl size didn't have the option of "free access to a dustbin full of dry food". Exercise was a tricky question as well because mine mooches about the farm all day.

I answered I feed my dogs table scraps all the time and can see and feel my dogs ribs but as a younger ADHD springer spaniel he needs the scraps to keep his weight on. I do think the question on whether the owner is obese is a really good one as it does seem to be fat owner, fat dog

I confess I don't walk my dogs regularly but we have a huge garden which they have the free run of, and do!
