canine papilloma virus, any experience?

Stanley has a small pink blob on his lower lip which I think is probably canine papilloma. He's just coming up to a year old, is a healthy pup but had a very nasty upset gut a couple of weeks ago (no idea what caused it but bloody mucus in his poo). He's fine now, eating well, normal in every way and just finished the probiotic the vet prescribed. Has anyone had exerience of CPV? I've had a look on the net and some of the warts are just hideous!

I thought Pen had that but the vet said it was 'acne'. That wasn't the technical name. ABs cleared it up. So that is my experience, although it wasn't!
