I have a chunky cob yearling, who's first birthday is next week. His cannon bones are 8" round at the moment..... will they widen as he ages or have they finished growing now?

He will or should have a whole lot more than 8" of bone when he matures as a ridden cob.
A welsh cob will have less bone and a better quality of bone, than a irish cob will have at maturity.
