Hi everyone. I live in the states, but am lucky enough to have found a trainer from G.B. She's the one who turned my on to this site. Ok, so I have been show jumping for a year now and moving up. Will be training this year for eventing and looking for a bp. As certified is not required here, I am having a hard time. I want a cert bp. Everyone here wears the Tipp Eventer. Not for me. So, I have read alot about the Kan, but really not in my budget. Other alternatives? Any of the HH models? Oh, and companies that are good to work with over the internet. There are 3 tack shops in my state and non have bp's, so no trying on. Budget is £100 and under. Also, I am short, chesty and a tad overweight (but loosing).

I really like my Airoware which I bought because it was recommended on here. They do a male and female version, the female fits nicely around you and comes in a huge number of sizes (also slightly adjustable within your size) so you can choose the one that fits best. It's lightweight, feels very comfy and offers Level III protection.

If you do a Google shopping search it comes up for as little as 71 pounds but I am not sure about shops that will post to the US.

There are currently I think 4 second hand Kans on ebay.co.uk, don't know if any of them would ship abroad but it looks like they are starting to hit the second hand market. As they are supposed to be pretty much indestructible it is one piece of safety kit I would buy second hand, if its the right size.
