Can't belive its been a whole year!

I lost my boy a year ago in a fire at his loan yard in Reading! This year has dragged yet flown by! Still miss him very much! An electrical fault is believed to be the cause. My thoughts are with the other girls who lost their babies too! 5 in total were taken! (

Have just read that there has been another fire at a yard in Reading on Saturday in which a horse was killed! My thoughts are with that family and hope they have the support and love I did to come to terms with it!

Also thoughts to the young girl who lost her pony at the Hunter trial at Tweseldown on Sunday! Poor pony had a heart attack at fence 3 and summersaulted. Rider was unhurt and was later heard telling others that the pain of losing her horse was worse than the injury from the fall! (

What an awful way to lose your horse. Must have been an awful time for you. We had a fire at our yard 2 1/2 yrs ago and the stable my horse is in now was burnt down. She was on the row behind at the time and had to watch as the fire took hold. Time does pass quickly. Its just about a year ago that my horse had to start box rest and Im hoping that its coming to an end this Spring.
