I am sitting here worrying about Flick at home :( I know she will be OK really, I sat with them for 4 hours this morning before I came into work and she had some breakfast then fell asleep in her usual way :)

I am just hoping she doesnt rub or scratch her head.... cant get away from here until 5.15pm..... aaaaargh :(:(:(

Just catching up on things now and saw the awful pic of her. I'm sure she'll spend most of the day sleeping after her GA yeaterday. Poor girlie I hope she is on the mend before too long.
The AAD meet up looked as if it was a great success, just sorry I couldn't join you all. I did raise a glass or 3 to you all in sunny Cyprus!! :D

No she hasnt - greyhounds are next to impossible to fit with buckets, their heads are just completely the wrong shape and are the same width as their necks, and they wont stay on? I was surprised not to be given one last night, then remembered that Ellen's had to be tied on with bandages under vet nurse supervision when she wore one :D

I rang my mum this morning again and we agreed she would be better off being left with the other two, I was going to leave her on her own but decided that she would probably stress about that more than being left in her usual routine :o The other two are completely ignoring the stitches so no concerns there!

I'm sure she'll be fine - still wondering how on earth she's managed it, mind you, I can't imagine you have anything remotely sharp at greyhound forehead height.

If she had a GA she'll probably still be a bit zonked out and sleep it off anyway. :)

Tell me about fitting buckets to greyhounds heads!!
Scoobs was tied on, with bandages, sticky bandages and some type of string and it still came off!!
I nearly glued it on :P
