Help!

I am looking for a fly rug for my black horse to try and give him a little protection from the sun which was making him sweat come the afternoon until we started bringing him in.

I bought him a shires one on Monday which is very good quality and certainly would do the job only it is fairly tight across the chest and I could barely get the straps on the neck rug to do up so no good. The length and depth are perfect so I don't think going up a size is an option.

Someone else posted on here about a fly rug to fit a cob and Amigo Mio's were recommended and as he has a lightweight mio that fits well I thought I would go for that. However I have just seen a post on FB that says the necks come up tight on them! Someone else has recommended a Masta Zing which the tack shop I got the shires from have in stock so I can do a swap but I have never been a fan of their rugs because they just look quite cheap and I am not sure they would reflect as well as the better makes. I also had a zing rug for my last deep chested horse and it really did not fit very well.

So can anyone recommend a rug for a fairly deep chested, solid necked cob x that will reflect the sun well. I have already spent almost £40 on the shires which I can return so would like something around that price but would pay a bit more if necessary.

Jam Doughnuts available for anyone who can be bothered to help with yet another fly rug problem!
