Can't find my way round new forum layout

I'm not finding the new forum layout as clear and simple as the old one. Some advice please?

1. Why do I have to log in every time? I know it doesn't take long but it's boring

2. On the old layout, there was a section called Search, where you could enter your user name and then click either Thread or Post and you could see what comments you yourself had made on any subject, and how the discussions had gone on from there. I now can't see how to access this.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Go to 'My profile' at the top of this page, from there you can view your posts etc.
I don't like this new layout either! there's no 'preview post' option or search that I can see...

The new layout is a lot better on an iPhone

The search is a little magnifying glass symbol in the top right hand corner. And you can stay logged in for a week by ticking the remember me box when you log in.

I'm not a fan of the new layout. When I read a post it's like reading a till receipt! Why does the format have to be so damn narrow. (I suppose it's so adverts can be posted all the way down the side.

Sod Iphone, its useless and unfriendly on a laptop, im not impressed by it at all?

I feel better about it now the mobile version is more user friendly. Still preferred the old one though

Im using Google chrome and have got ad blocker on, now without the ads at the side gone its like the old forum(width wise anyway)

Add the above to chrome and then when on the forum right click the adverts and you should have the option to block ads from this site.

Glad I'm not the only one! I started a thread the other day and once it had gone down a few pages, I couldn't find it! So if anyone replied, sorry - I wasn't being rude by not thanking people!!!
