Can't get through MY bedroom window!

I'm so tired! We had yet another break-in during the early hours of the morning. I wish they would pick more sensible hours to break-in/make an attempt. Bit of an odd bunch this time, seems as though a couple of them went to the cellar (and got in) whilst another went onto the roof- which gives them access to all the windows to our flat on the 1st floor :rolleyes:

The guys in the cellar set off all the alarms, waking up everybody except me as usual (I grew up in a pup with a similar history of 'alarms wailing in the middle of the night' and no longer react, oops :o). I merrily slept through it all until some burglaring cretin starting messing around outside my open bedroom window. Which woke Loki up, and caused him to go into complete snarly-dog mode. Which then woke me up :mad:

Poor Loki, it wasn't until I'd shoved him with my foot and told him to shut the F up several times that I woke up enough to realise he really did have a valid reason for going bat**** crazy :(

There really isn't much reason for this post, other than an excuse for me to complain about how sodding tired I am now. But on the plus side, burglar cretins are definitely not safe loitering near my bedroom window, yay! (There were two other open windows, neither of which had a furious GSD on the other side of it. Go figure :confused:)
 
As in proper burglars or are we talking an animal form burglar?


I wouldnt be able to sleep if it was a proper burglar. Good boy Loki protecting your house even if mummy poked you a couple of times :D

No I live with parents while at uni, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to quit work and opt for lazy student life :D Though it's not a house, my mum's a steward, hence the flat and regular break ins/attempts at breaking in, yay! :mad:

Toffee- not the animal type sadly :( More like the very noisy gets-you-out-of-bed scrote type.

I'm so tired! I may resort to planting landmines on the roof outside my window. Then it will be just 'boom' and sleep can resume as normal.

ETA - We have really old central heating MM, so even if the rads are off, the pipes that run around the room heating the rest of the building will still pump out loads of heat :( And neither me nor Loki like it too warm so we have the window open all winter instead lol.

Loki is a very good boy, I hope you feel bad for telling him off :p

Betsy would have gone out the window for a party with the scrote rather than alert / protect / do anything useful. I need a proper dog!
 
Pix cant believe how chilled you are(must be that open window) What a star Loki is I hope you take him to the butchers and treat him.

There should be a competition for hero dogs Loki would get my vote.

A few years ago one lunchtime someone stole my stained glass back door, I was in the shower and heard the banging ,my heeler was barking and I just presumed it was someone working in one of the sheds near the house. We did get it back but the worrying thing was 4 men were seen in a car at the bottom of my drive that freaked me out. Just one of the reasons I now have 2 Dobes, the low life is out there and looking for every opportunity to rob you.

They stole your door? Your actual door?! The cheek of it! :eek: I'm not surprised you were worried about a whole group of them lurking around the end of your driveway, darned scrotes.

I did feel pretty guilty. I was quite insistent that he should be quiet. Well as insistent as you can be when you're half asleep. :o
