Can't keep horses, what options do we have?

Great news everyone, an equestrian guy arrived with his son and father and took them :).. they are close to our town ( about 2 mile outside) they will be gelded there and used for riding :) (the son was about 17 and was so professional with them, led them onto the trailer with np etc) we will keep check on them in the future to see their progress.

We want to take this time to thank every single person who replied to this thread, all of you have supported us and helped us in this difficult time. Rowreach we want to say especially you deserve a massive thanks! in the end someone heard about it here and contacted us, a happy ending and a new life for these guys :)

goodluck boys! i know you'll go far, with the right trainer tztz dad

That is brilliant news. You have sounded very caring throughout your posts and I think what you have done is so admirable considering they weren't really your horses, especially as you are going to keep in contact and make sure all is well with them. What a better world it would be if everyone was like you!

I'm glad it's turned out well for all concerned :)

Agree, if they are gelded you will find it much easier to rehome them. Such a shame I'm not local to you, the little connemara is lovely. Good luck...

Fantastic news that you got a home for them! Only just got around to reading this thread now...well done for being so good with them and working hard to get them the right home
